I have been approached to be a life model and I am unclear whether or not this is a good thing. The person who asked me is someone who I know (vaguely). They were quick to explain that I would get paid. £25 for two hours no less. ‘No less’ is not an expression I am comfortable with when it comes to me being a life model. I might not be on telly anymore but there is exposure and there is desperation – and so I’ve told them that I’ll think about it.
I reason that some of the 10 commandments might need revising – or at least have caveats added…
Thou shalt not kill – unless you have made your kids a meal – they are upstairs and they happen to be wearing their bloody headphones.
We all admire people and the things that they can do – particularly so when said things are out of own particular range of skills. Lord knows, Tom has his legions of admirers for his acting, the roles he plays and I guess other things also!
Like lots of famous people, Tom gets sent lots of free stuff.
In the last consignment, in amongst all the stuff was a book. Presumably the publisher is hoping that Tom might be spotted reading the book? But alas, against the trainers and the clothes, the book did not stand much of a chance. A waste of a copy then? Well not quite.
Before I tell this story I need to set the scene…
People who have read Eclipsed will know that I am not a boastful person and nor am I a particularly confident person – and especially so given my choice of profession.
Well, if not a giveaway – then at least an offer on the p & p of Eclipsed.
Here at the Head Office of Eclipsed (my house) the staff of Eclipsed (me) have been looking at ways to reduce the p&p for readers – particularly for those living in the postal district called ‘Rest of the World’ or anywhere outside Europe.
